About
I'm a computer science student at RWTH Aachen who likes understanding systems all the way down — from bare-metal operating systems up through the protocols that carry the internet — and owning the ones I depend on. Most of my attention goes to network and DNS security: right now that's ds-watch, a DNSSEC transparency observatory that photographs the DNS trust chain every day and publishes every change as a public, registry-signed log. I write mostly Rust, Go and C, run my own infrastructure end to end, and care more about things being checkable than trusted.
Alongside my studies I keep the lights on as a student assistant at RWTH Innovation, and I chair Collective Incubator e.V., the student-run incubator and co-working space in Aachen — where I first built out the IT function from a loose project team into a real operation. I'm working toward my first IETF contribution (a dnsop problem statement, once ds-watch has enough operational history behind it), spend more time than is reasonable on post-quantum crypto and privacy-respecting self-hosting, and fly drones when I'm away from a keyboard.
